I’m afraid that Captain Jack Sparrow and his band of pirate from the Black Pearl has struck again…not once, but twice in terms of targets against my bank account. While I was fortunate to not lose any money, this time’s experience has left me without a debit card that I used and one that I had not even used yet.
…
The experience this time had given me an epiphany about how I use my passwords on the sites that I use. Now don’t get me wrong, as someone on the autism spectrum, I typically used to create passwords that are easy to remember (using dates, phrases, etc.) and that I don’t have to write down. Well, that all changed recently and now I have been creating passwords that I write down.
…
Of course, this once again brings about the idea of being flexible and viewing it as a survival skill. There are plenty of us out there that probably don’t want to write down passwords and choose to remember easy passwords that pirates can easily break down.
However, creating a strong password can mean the difference between staying one step ahead of the pirates or going through the annoyance and the agony of getting that news which results in having to wait for a new method of purchasing in a considerable amount of time.
What is more important to remember that any strong password is your best defense against any pirate, but there are some of you out there that don’t want to believe it. I get it that we all have those sides that make us feel like we know everything and yet, we don’t. Nobody can know everything, our brains aren’t set up for that.
Take it from me, writing down strong passwords and keeping them in a safe place could make all the difference down the road. Is it an inconvenience? Yes, but it’s an inconvenience that you can hope to avoid going through multiple times down the road.

Catch you all later!!
